Q: What does it cost and what services do you receive?
A: A standard $60 Intake/Diagnostic charge is due for each computer dropped off and left with Mac Nurse for diagnostic service. This Intake/Diagnostic charge (when applicable) includes a FULL external physical and internal inspection of each unique computer’s software and hardware, as well as a professional Tune-Up of your computer’s OS + hard drive (if your HD is functional). This full diagnostic procedure will usually take 12-48 hours and is necessary to determine which repairs and/or upgrades will be required, recommended, or both. This $60 Intake/Diagnostic charge includes one 30-minute appointment to drop off your device(s). This appointment allows for 30-minutes of information gathering for information we will need such as your device's password(s) or passcode(s), your Apple ID and password, your pertinent email addresses and their related passwords, the filling out of the Mac Nurse Intake and Agreement form, and a brief conversation about the Mac Nurse repair process.
This $60 Intake/Diagnostic charge also includes a 30-minute “post-op” professional consultation with Mac Nurse when you pick up your device. This post-op session includes a re-orientation to your device(s) as well as Mac Nurse Tech-Support, and this is the ideal time to have your technical questions addressed and thoroughly answered. It should be understood that time spent together beyond these included 30-minute sessions is considered billable consulting time.
Although most computers coming in will require a proper evaluation and diagnosis, it is not always the case. For situations that are unique, or simply do not require a diagnosis, you may still select this option for a free 30-minute appointment to drop off your computer with Mac Nurse. Under the most common circumstances, when dropping off your computer/device. Please be sure to book a future, 5-minute Quick Pickup or 30-minute full service appointment with Mac Nurse to come and pick up your device.

If you dropped your computer of for a FULL diagnosis, evaluation, and repair, then when you come to pick up your newly repaired computer, Mac Nurse provides 30 minutes of complimentary consultation, re-orientation, and instruction on how to best use your repaired computer. Although this 30-minutes of tech-support is not required, it is a beneficial service offered that most customers find helpful. If you feel you do not need this 30-minute block of time, please select "Quick Appointment to Pick-up your Computer (5 minute block)" service instead.
This is a basic and quick appointment to simply pay your balance and pickup your computer from Mac Nurse. Please be aware that this type of appointment does not allocate any time for follow-up questions and answers, or tech-support. If you have a need for technical consulting with Mac Nurse, please be sure to choose the 30-minute block for pickup.

Over-the-phone Support : Malware / Adware / Virus Removal : Remote Viewing / Phone Support

$150 Flat Charge. Mac Nurse will professionally uninstall and remove all Malware from your Mac. This will be accomplished through a remote Teamviewer screen-sharing of your computer and will require you to have your phone accessible as well as a high-speed internet connection (DSL or Cable) at the time of the service call. It will generally take about 60-90 minutes to complete the whole procedure from start to finish. Sometimes it may only take 30 minutes, or it may take up to 2+ hours depending on the ease or severity of your computer's situation. This service has a flat fee of $150. Tech support for additional concerns that are not Malware or Virus related are billed at the Mac Nurse standard rate of $50/half-hour.
